Deine Aufgaben
Lead the validation and characterization of silicon photonic devices, defining test strategies from early prototype through to qualification
Analyse and interpret measurement data to extract underlying device physics, identify performance limitations, and drive root-cause analysis
Execute and/or oversee wafer-level probing and automated test systems for scalable device validation
Take full ownership of validation activities, from test definition and setup architecture to execution, automation, data analysis and reporting
Lead debugging of complex device and system-level issues, including ambiguous or conflicting measurement results
Collaborate closely with design, process, packaging and system teams, acting as the key interface between measurement data and engineering decisions
Dein Profil
MSc or PhD in Physics (semiconductor, solid-state), Electrical Engineering or a related field
A few years of industry or advanced research experience in photonic device characterization or validation
Deep understanding of silicon photonic and semiconductor device physics, including the ability to connect measurements to physical mechanisms
Hands-on experience with electro-optical characterization at wafer, die level or package level
Strong background in data analysis, modelling and interpretation (Python, Matlab or similar), including handling large datasets
Ability to communicate clear, concise and insightful technical conclusions tailored to different stakeholders
Fluent English; German is a plus
