(Senior) System Engineer (f/m/x)

System definition and specification of FMCW LiDAR sensors and their sub-modules

Translate customer requirements into system configurations and subsystem requirements

Requirements management using industry standard tools
as e.g. Polarion, Doors

Cross domain system architecture: laser, coupling, optics, electronics

System modeling and simulation

Support of system integration team, failure root cause analysis for prototypes

Guiding the development during all project phases and reviews

Coaches and mentors engineers on technical fields of expertise

Technical interface to customers, feasibility analysis of customer requests

Your main responsibilities

You should have

PhD or Master degree in Engineering, Optics or Physics

More than 5 years relevant industry experience in system
engineering of advanced optical and/or photonic systems
and/or electronic systems

Solid knowledge of system engineering and requirements management methods and tools as well as Industrial quality standards (IATF 16949, ASPICE)

Understanding functional safety and security requirements

Leadership experience in high tech R&D environment

Automotive industry experience is a plus

Very good communication and fluent English skill
